Algo al norte de Frigiliana hay una carretera que lleva a la aldea de El Acebuchal, un secreto bien guardado en medio del parque natural de la Sierra de Tejeda y Almijara. Un kilómetro antes de llegar, se encuentra esta preciosa casa dentro de un valle verde donde reina la paz y tranquilidad. Un pequeño paraiso escondido en uno de los últimos reductos de los maquis...
Situación y exteriores
Rústico, privado y rural. Es la esencia de este sitio encantador que se encuentra a unos 10 minutos en coche de Frigiliana, un bonito paseo por las montañas. El acceso tiene algunas curvas pronunciadas pero no presenta dificultades y está todo hormigonado. El cortijo está situado en una amplia finca con varios rincones para sentarse en medio de amplio abanico de flores y plantas. Dispone de una atractiva zona de barbacoa y un sombreado porche con mobiliario de jardín. La zona de la piscina privada (7m x 4m) está situada en un nivel superior, donde se puede tomar el sol en una hamaca y disfrutar de las panorámicas vistas al pueblo de El Acebuchal, una aldea con una interesante historia. El pueblo, uno de los últimos reductos de los maquis, fue abandonado en 1949 forzado por el régimen de Franco. Los niños de aquellas familias que un día se fueron con lágrimas en los ojos soñaban con volver y verlo de nuevo como en sus mejores tiempos. Ese sueño se hizo realidad en 1998 cuando empezó la rehabilitación de la primera casa. Poco a poco se reconstruyó todo... Todavía no hay tiendas en este pueblo pero vale la pena visitar el único restaurante donde sirven platos locales de caza. En el pueblo de Frigiliana sí encontrará todo tipo de tiendas, supermercados, bares y restaurantes. Y los que buscan el mar, pueden darse un baño en una de las playas de Nerja, que queda a tan sólo 9 kilómetros, unos 15 minutos en coche.

La casa es preciosa, el entorno impresionante. Está muy bien equipada, no le falta nada. Limpieza perfecta, tanto de la casa como de la piscina y de los exteriores. Hemos pasado dos semanas estupendas, disfrutando de la casa, de la piscina, de los pueblos cercanos y de las rutas de senderismo. Nos hemos sentido como en casa en todo momento. Los propietarios, encantadores y muy atentos a todo. Un lugar perfecto para disfrutar rodeados de naturaleza y desconectar de todo. Volveremos seguro y lo recomendaremos a nuestros conocidos.

Siempre nos habían contado que al séptimo día Dios descansó, pues creo que eso no es cierto, lo que realmente hizo fue trasladar una parte del paraíso a la tierra creando el Cortijo Ricardo.

Siempre nos habían contado que al séptimo día Dios descansó, pues creo que eso no es cierto, lo que realmente hizo fue trasladar una parte del paraíso a la tierra creando el Cortijo Ricardo.
En muchos comentarios se habla de los accesos ¿son fáciles? No, pero ¿alguien cree que las cosas buenas son sencillas? Evidentemente lo bueno requiere de ciertos sacrificios, y además tan sólo es una primera impresión ya que una vez recorres ese camino un par de veces, compruebas que es mucho más cómodo de lo que creías inicialmente. La verdad es que hemos pasado allí dos semanas maravillosas, a ello han contribuido en gran medida Lucrecia y Martín, los dueños de la casa que se han volcado en que nuestra estancia fuese perfecta. Para finalizar este comentario simplemente quisiera animar a todo el mundo que quiera disfrutar de unas vacaciones en el cielo, que elija como destino de las mismas está residencia... no se equivocarán. |

We had a fantastic stay at the Cortijo. An amazing and tranquil space nestled in the valley, off the beaten track and away from touristy spots. The garden and pool area is stunningly beautiful and perfect for relaxing. Frigiliana and Nerja were within a short drive from the house. Lucrezia the owner was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. We had a lovely holiday here and would love to come back one day.

Lovely to have Frigiliana a short drive away for meals out and wandering around the shops. We loved walking to the restaurant in The Lost Village. This place is amazing - the house is great with so many lovely touches & attention to detail that lots of holiday rentals just don’t do but this place had everything we needed and more. It was immaculately clean and well equipped. The location is stunning in the mountains, and the gardens and terraces of the house had fabulous views and while there we saw lots of wildlife including squirrels, goats, lizards, geckos, bats and more. The pool is beautiful and is set on a terrace above the house so makes the most of the incredible scenery. We had a very warm welcome from Lucrezia, and there was fresh local fruit and other treats to enjoy. Ralph was very helpful in all communication before we arrived and was always happy to answer queries. The road to the house is steep and has some tight turns so be mindful when hiring a car, but the end result of arriving at the villa is worth the journey! We didn’t want to leave!

The wildlife here is a positive addition to all the experiences. A real little paradise with a most fantastic view from all over the property’s well kept outdoor areas - the pool area, the BBQ area or the nice big terrace. The house itself was presented by the warm and welcoming owner Mrs Lucrecia, who introduced us to the perfect equipped and spotless clean house and outdoor areas. Our best recommendation to a peaceful and relaxing stay away from the bustling coast cities, and still within easy and quick reach by car.

The pool has an amazing view and the hills are a joy to view throughout the day. The plot is also very private in terms of visibility if that’s something you care about. The only downside to the house is the driveway that takes you down from the main street. It is quite a distance (5-10 min) and it is very bumpy. Be very careful if you have a low car!

This place is heaven! It is certainly off the beaten track (we were fine without a 4x4) and away from the hustle and bustle, so if you want to recharge your batteries and get back to nature (we saw ibex, eagles and a red squirrel) this is the place. We had planned to do some site seeing, but in the end chose mostly to stay and relax around the pool (Acebuchal and Frigiliana were close by and lovely for lunch or an evening stroll). The house has everything we needed (dishwasher and washing machine) and was cool even in the heat of August. We met the delightful owner, who was really welcoming (allowing us to check in early) and helpful (getting us an extra fan).

De plek was precies wat we hoopten: een plek waar het echt stil is, waar je midden in de natuur zit maar ook met een half uur in Nerja aan het strand bent. Het huisje en de tuin zijn met heel veel aandacht ingericht. De kinderen hebben zich ontzettenver más
De plek was precies wat we hoopten: een plek waar het echt stil is, waar je midden in de natuur zit maar ook met een half uur in Nerja aan het strand bent. Het huisje en de tuin zijn met heel veel aandacht ingericht. De kinderen hebben zich ontzettend goed vermaakt bij het zwembad. Het ritje van Frigiliana naar het huisje is wel een kleine uitdaging. Wij hebben het ontzettend naar onze zin gehad.

Zeer goed gelegen in een mooie tuin met verrassende hoekjes en zitjes. Veel aandacht voor het interieur en exterieur. Zeer schoon. Laatste stuk weg moeilijk begaanbaar met grote auto en moeilijk voor mensen met geen ervaring met rijden in de bergen. Afstand naar Nerja is vooral in donker te ver maar op het terras is het heerlijk barbequen.

Bijzonder mooi plekje op een kleine 10 minuten van Frigiliana. De cortijo bevindt zich midden in een natuurpark, dus je hebt prachtig uitzicht vanuit de met zorg aangelegde tuin. Je merkt dat deze woning en tuin met veel liefde wordt onderhouden: het voelt als een thuis en niet als een vakantiewoning. Compliment voor de, overigens bijzonder vriendelijke en attente, eigenaren! Nerja ligt op ongeveer 20 minuten en biedt naast Frigiliana ook meer dan voldoende eet- en drinkgelegenheden. Daarnaast is het aan te bevelen om naar El Acebuchal te wandelen en daar van een traditionele Andalusische lunch met een ijskoude San Miguel te genieten. Kortom een geweldige plek om te genieten van natuur en rust, met faciliteiten binnen bereik.

Het huis is prachtig, fantastisch rustig gelegen in een mooie omgeving. De inrichting is mooi , zeer compleet en de ruimte rond het huis met het mooie zwembad is heerlijk. Belangrijk nadeel vonden wij de toegangsweg/route. Vanuit Frigiliana is het nover más
Het huis is prachtig, fantastisch rustig gelegen in een mooie omgeving. De inrichting is mooi , zeer compleet en de ruimte rond het huis met het mooie zwembad is heerlijk. Belangrijk nadeel vonden wij de toegangsweg/route. Vanuit Frigiliana is het nog ca 15 minuten rijden eerst over een asfaltweg maar daarna een soort met beton verharde weg waarvan het laatste deel verschillende hobbels en scherpe bochten kent. Met een doorsnee huurauto best goed te doen. Wij hadden een grotere en vooral langere (en lagere) auto zodat het ontlopen van de hobbels soms een uitdaging was en niet altijd lukte. Met name de eerste keer geeft de toegangsrit wel wat zorgen. Naarmate de week vorderde ging het makkelijker en genoten we enorm van de rustige plek en het mooie huis. Voor mensen die van privacy houden en het niet erg vinden om daar wat reistijd voor te maken een uitstekende plek.

The scenery was stunning whilst the farmhouse and its various terraces and seating areas had been restored with real love and thoughtfulness which made for the perfect home from home! Our almost daily trek to Bar El Acebuchal was much looked forward to (we will bring walking boots next time so that we can cross through the mountain stream to get into the next valley), the recently opened wine bar in Frigliana is worth a visit and a trip to Alhambra not to be missed! Although the weather was not particularly kind - and we probably should have taken a few more warm clothes - the warmth of our host's welcome and care of us during our stay was much appreciated, and we very much hope to return!

C'est une villa idéalement située au calme tout en étant loin de rien...on a l'impression que le temps s'est arrêté. La ville est très bien équipée, il y a tout sur place. La piscine est en hauteur ce qui offre une vue imprenable sur les collines. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et très avenants, nous avons eu droit à quelques petites attentions a notre arrivée. La route pour accéder à la villa est assez serpentée mais donne le ton de la tranquillité. Nous avons passé 11 jours magnifiques dans cet endroit magique. A très bientôt.

Die Unterkunft war ein wunderschöner, naturverbundener und ruhiger Ort der Entspannung. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt: das Haus war sehr sauber, es war alles vor Ort, was wir benötigt haben: von Toilettenpapier über Seife, über eine komplette Küchenausstattung, sogar Obst und eine Flasche Wein hat uns begrüßt. Der Pool und die Aussicht war wirklich für uns das absolute Highlight. Genau wie die verschiedenen Terrassen, die zu jeder Tageszeit und zu jeder Mahlzeit einen anderen Ort mit Sonne oder Schatten zugelassen haben. Alles war sehr liebevoll hergerichtet. Ralph persönlich haben wir nicht kennengelernt. Uns hat stattdessen Fr. Lucrecia empfangen. Sie war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und es hat alles reibungslos geklappt. Es war eine wirklich sehr warmherziger Begrüßung. Für das Haus ist definitiv ein Mietauto erforderlich und auch die Anfahrt ist recht kurvenreich durch die Berge. Man wird aber definitiv mit einem wunderbaren Ausblick belohnt und ist weit weg vom Massentourismus!
