Un retiro muy pacífico, ideal para una familia pequeña
Nos gusta esta villa pequeña, en un ambiente rural con las vistas fabulosas sobre los valles hasta llegar al mar. El sombreado patio con barbacoa es perfecto para las comidas en el exterior. La piscina privada y interior confortable completan esta casa con encanto. Frigiliana, con sus típicos restaurantes y bares para tomar una tapa, es el contraste de la paz y tranquilidad que reina en su campo alrededor.
Situación y exteriores
Casita encantadora situada en las montañas de Frigiliana (5,3 km) en una zona de mucha tranquilidad. La playas de la Costa del Sol se encuentran a 12 km. Amplia zona de terraza y piscina (6,30 m x 3,5 m y profundidad de 1,7 m a 2 m), con 4 hamacas con colchones. La casa y el jardín ofrecen bonitas vistas panorámicas sobre las montañas y el Mediterráneo. Junto a las casa y su terraza hay una plantación de aguacates. Hay barbacoa y un agradable porche con mesa comedor. Hacia la casa hay un camino no asfaltado de 300 metros.

La casa tiene todas las estancias en una sola planta. El salón es muy cómodo y dispone de chimenea, mesa comedor, 2 sofás para 2 personas, mueble con cajones y vitrina, mesita y una pequeña televisión por satélite. La cocina americana esta equipada con placa de gas, horno, microondas, frigorífico y lavadora. El dormitorio principal es un cuádruple con cama de matrimonio y 2 camas individuales. El segundo dormitorio tiene 2 camas individuales. Hay un baño con ducha, bidet y wc. Aunque los dormitorios ofrecen espacio a 5 personas, vemos esta casita mejor para 4 personas, tanto por el espacio interior como exterior. Los precios mencionados son para 4 personas.

Had a little problem with the pool he came and sorted it very quickly. The road up to the villa is a little challenging the first few times, but fine if you are a confident driver. We were hopeful of being able to walk into Frigiliana but its not possible. You need to take everything with you as there is nothing there, ie. Washing up liquid, toilet roll. There is a Lidl within 10 minutes drive. We stayed 2 weeks and had a change of bedding and towels half way though our stay. This villa is excellent value for money with the best views. Would happily stay here again. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Frigiliana est un « village blanc » qui laisse des souvenirs merveilleux. Proche de Grenade avec ses jardins et palais à couper le souffle. Malaga avec la cathédrale de l’incarnation et le musée Picasso…. Vous avez compris : de quoi passer de très bonnes vacances.

To access the property you’ll need a car and road can be tricky but after a day or two we got used of it and it didn’t bother us at all. Nerja town is only 15min away which we found very convenient. Really great value for the money! Highly recommend for families with up to 3 kids.

Super schöne Aussicht und gut ausgestattes Haus. Ich hatte mit meiner Familie ein tollen Urlaub. Der Weg zum Haus ist etwas komplizierter und man muss ein sicherer Fahrer sein aber nach 2-3 hinfahrten gewöhnt man sich in den Bergen zu fahren.

The Villa was very clean, and we would recommend it to others. Ralph was accommodating and arranged for someone to meet us as we were late arriving, and they guided us to the Villa, which was off the beaten track. The one observation I would make is to rent a suitable car to deal with the off-road nature of the track leading to the Villa.

We had a wonderful stay in Frigiliana, the house is just as shown in the photos. The track up to the house is moderately challenging, but it’s well worth the effort once you arrive and see the fantastic views. I think it’s fair to say you need to arrive during daylight, I would have struggled to follow the directions given in the dark. Frigiliana is a great little place, obviously popular with tourists and plenty of little bars, restaurants and shops. There is a Lidl just down the bottom of the hill on the way into Nerja, a bigger town which is also well worth a visit. Bear in mind also you won’t find any large supermarkets open if you arrive on a Sunday, but you can pick up essentials in any of a few smaller shops which stay open. All in all a fantastic place and Ralph was very helpful with any queries we had before arriving.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Ampero. However, there are a few things to note - the access roads / tracks are very narrow and windy, with steep sided drops in places; there is a very close neighbour to the rear of the villa, partially overlooking the pool side, so not completely private and finally there were no consumables suppled so you need to bring washing up liquid, kitchen spray, bin liners etc. The villa was spotlessly clean, with renewed bed linen and towels on the Saturday. Beach towels are also provided. There is plenty of space, with 2 double beds and a single, plus a large sofa. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a barbecue also. The pool is a good size, clean and very deep which was perfect for cooling off on a hot day, however there is no shallow end. Once on the main road Frigiliana and Nerja are easy to access, there are plenty of lovely bars and restaurants to try. Nerja has gorgeous beaches and everyone we met was friendly.

Perfect for a small family but if required, can accommodate much more people, especially during summer time as there is plenty of terrace space in addition to the sleeping space in the lounge. Great location - and great panoramic vistas views. Complete privacy - that may change during summer, but in any case there are only 2 houses in the immediate vicinity. They were empty during our stay. Good water pressure, spacious bedrooms with good quality furniture. The only notable drawback in our opinion is the use of bed sheets instead of proper duvet covers. We thought that it was not very hygienic so we decided to buy an own duvet cover. Perhaps the use of bed sheets may be justified during hot summers but it was about +10°C during nighttime at the end of March. But overall it was a minor point and the house is 100% recommended in terms of sheer value for money. At least - during the out of season period.

You have to be an experienced driver who's not afraid to drive on the hill at sometimes narrow, steep roads. But gladly it is only 8 minutes driving to the house. Further I would recommend guests to do some shopping before going to the house, if they arrive late in the afternoon. You won't go off the hill in the dark the first day, to go to the supermarket for food after you arrived.
